Air Max 95 OG "Slate"

One of Nike’s boldest running designs switched up with a different energy.

Part of the 1995 lineup, this colourway trades the louder side of the AM95 story for cool blue gradients, subtle green hits and that unmistakable layered look.

Designed by Sergio Lozano, the Air Max 95 never really followed the rules in the first place. The wavy side panels take inspiration from muscle fibres, the lacing system nods to the human rib cage, and the midsole represents the spine. Basically turning anatomy into one of the most recognisable sneaker designs ever.

This is why the 95 still hits for us. It’s a sneaker that looked different on purpose, pushed Air technology forward with visible cushioning in both the heel and forefoot, and somehow feels just as fresh decades later.

A little calmer than the “Neon”, but still every bit an Air Max 95.
